Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 2025

At The Authors Empire, we value our clients and are committed to delivering high-quality publishing, writing, editing, design, and marketing services. Your satisfaction is our top priority. However, since every project requires time, resources, and creative effort, we have established the following refund policy to maintain fairness and transparency for all clients.

General Refund Terms

All refund requests will be processed in accordance with the terms below.

1. Before Project Initiation

If a refund request is made before the delivery of any initial drafts, concepts, or project materials, the client will be eligible for a full refund, less a 10% administrative and processing fee.

2. After Initial Delivery

If a refund request is made within 48 hours of receiving the first book draft, concept, or design, a 66% refund will be issued (less a 10% processing fee).

If a refund request is made between 48 and 120 hours of the initial delivery, a 33% refund will be issued (less a 10% processing fee).

No refund requests will be entertained after 120 hours of your initial delivery. However, our team will gladly work with you to find an alternative resolution or additional revisions to ensure your satisfaction.

3. After Client Approval or Revision Requests

Once you have approved the delivered materials or requested revisions, the refund option becomes void, and no refund will be issued.

4. Inactive Orders

No refund requests will be accepted if you fail to respond or take action on your order for 30 days after purchase.

If you wish to reactivate an inactive order, a reactivation fee may apply depending on the project scope and progress.

5. Completed Projects

Refunds are not applicable once final files, manuscripts, or published materials have been delivered.

For publishing services, no refund will be provided once the book has been submitted for publishing or distribution.

For book marketing and promotional services, refunds are not applicable once campaigns have been launched, scheduled, or any promotional material has been distributed.

6. Custom or Combined Packages

For combined or bundled service packages (e.g., Book Writing + Design + Publishing), refunds will apply only to the remaining portion of the project that has not been started or delivered.

Example:
If your book writing is complete and approved, you may still request a refund for the publishing or marketing portion (if it has not yet begun).

7. Refund Validity & Good Faith Policy

Refund requests must include a valid reason aligned with the original service agreement.

If the delivered work meets the agreed-upon scope and quality, a refund will not be granted however, additional revisions or service adjustments may be provided to ensure client satisfaction.

Refunds will be considered valid only if the order was placed in good faith. If the same project is simultaneously assigned to multiple service providers with the intent to claim multiple refunds, The Authors Empire reserves the right to decline the request and terminate the agreement.

8. Ownership and Copyright

All materials produced by The Authors Empire including written manuscripts, designs, and formatted files remain the intellectual property of The Authors Empire until full payment is received.

After full payment, ownership and rights to the completed materials are transferred to the client.

The Authors Empire is not responsible for any coincidental similarities to existing works or previously published materials.

Please include your order number, reason for refund, and supporting details. Each request will be reviewed individually, and approval will be based on this policy’s terms.

10. Final Note

Our goal at The Authors Empire is to deliver top-tier publishing, marketing, and editorial services with complete transparency and integrity. While our refund policy is designed to ensure fairness, we always encourage open communication our team is here to work with you to resolve any issues and ensure your satisfaction.
